  24. As explained in the manual, you can only change the speed of an
  25. external (e.g. dialout) line.  You can't change the speed of your
  26. job's controlling terminal.  If you really want to do the latter,
  27. issue the appropriate system command (stty, SET TERMINAL, etc)
  28. prior to starting Kermit.
